The Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia has a great adult Choir, Music Director and supportive congregation. We embrace all styles of music and network with talented musicians from around New England. Twice a year we have Jazz services where the Tom Robinson Trio performs with the Choir. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, our Choir is inclusive and non-judgemental.
There's always room in our choir for people who enjoy singing. We meet every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on Zoom (while this pandemic is going on). We then rehearse on our own, and Noelle mixes all our parts in her studio. It's fun and great practice. And hey, you can sing!
Our Choir Director and our Virtual Choir has created a UU Hymn Library. We are recording all of the Hymns from the UU Hymnal so that it's easy for other Unitarian Universalist organizations to enjoy easily inserting professional quality hymns into their online services.
Our Virtual Choir meets every Wednesday from 7:00pm-8:00pm via Zoom. During these meetings we plan the music for the coming months. Most pieces are recorded by each choir member recording their own parts and sending it to our Music Director, Noelle, who then lays everything out in her studio software. Some choir members meet at the church to record their performance live. Whether it's virtual or live, the UUSL Choir is a great group of people who all love music.
A Time for All Ages and the Closing Circle are part of our tradition.
Sunday Worship Services are at 10:00am via Zoom. Please email uusloffice@gmail.com to get the link!
